Voodie Racing was started in 2007 with the goal of being a contender in the NASA Regional and National Championship auto racing series. This goal was realized in 2008 with a National Championship in the NASA Time Trials series and again with a 2nd place nationally in Performance Touring in Utah, 2010. The team has also garnered track records at multiple tracks around the region as well. Where did Voodie Racing get its name? 

First, Voodie is NOT voodoo... big difference! The name Voodie came from a game my father used to play with his brothers when he was a kid. He was King Voodie (still is, according to him) and there were other Voodie's in the game. There is even a Voodie hand signal... lifting your hands, palms facing you, and moving your fingers against themselves to make a brushing sound is the "secret" Voodie signal... the secret is out! That's why there are hands on the Voodie Racing Logo!
